Peggy Sue (was Pippa) – Peggy Sue was a family surrender after her owner passed away. The family would have liked to have kept Peggy Sue but a family member is highly allergic to dogs and cats. Peggy Sue is a 5 year old blue merle with perfectly tipped ears. She is 16 inches tall and weighs 41 pounds. Peggy Sue is house trained and she gets along with other dogs. She loves to take walks and that along with a good diet will help her start to work off that extra weight. Right now Peggy Sue is very concerned about her changes and is being very shy but we are sure she will start coming out of her shell.
UPDATE: Because of confusion between Pippa and Pippin, Pippa got a new name, Peggy Sue, and she really likes it. Peggy Sue is coming out of her shell, she likes to play with toys and tennis balls. Even though her exercise level has increased and her food intake has decreased, Peggy Sue is gaining weight. She will be getting a thyroid test to see if she is like many shelties, hypothyroid. If so, she will be taking a low priced supplement.
UPDATE: Peggy Sue does not have thyroid issues, she is just having problems losing weight. Foster mom has put her on a weight management food, which she loves, and will continue working with her to get rid of a few extra pounds.

He will be going thru the usual puppy shots and will not be available for adoption until after he is neutered, which should be done in July.
