Chewy (was Charlie 2) was an owner surrender due to the owner’s health and doctor’s orders. Charlie came in overweight but healthy, up to date on vaccinations and heartworm negative. At 9 years old Charlie was looking for a new home with lots of love. It wasn’t long before some folks called just for information about our rescue program. We told them about Charlie and even tho they weren’t looking for a sheltie they decided they wanted to give him a new home. They fell in love with him and he they on their first meeting. Charlie became Chewy and is loving his new human family and his big dog brother.
