Daisy Mae is 3-year-old owner surrender and was in a situation she wasn’t made for…..she was too friendly and not protective enough. She is now up to date on all vaccinations and tested heartworm-negative. She will be treated for some flea dermatitis and is scheduled for a spay. Sweet girl is on the road to a better life and ready for applications of interest.

[Sept 4, 2024] Pupdate on Miss Daisy Mae.  Her foster and the vet’s office had noticed her limping on her back leg so we had x-rays done.  The x-rays showed a bit of atrophy in her hind left leg along with an old TLO/TPLO injury, and rupture of a ligament in the left leg.  The right leg is fine.  The recommendation from the orthopedist was to give her a supplement of Glyde and see how she is doing in 6 weeks.  We hope this will ease the periodic discomfort and help the leg build muscle.  He does not recommend surgery at this time.
